The "Destination Carpet One" custom retail design was incorporated in the complete remodeling of Carpet One of Alexandria's 5000 square foot showroom. The entire design is built around the idea of allowing customers to browse the 20,000 unique flooring choices with ease while getting a glimpse of their favorite products installed on the floor.

The complete transformation took some six weeks and employed the talents of Canterbury Builders for the build out. According to Don Luciano, Residential Group Manager, "The project wouldn't have happened without the oversight of Andrew Goshorn, Installation Manager, who put together a veritable jigsaw puzzle of flooring under tight timelines. "Anytime you are installing carpet, ceramic, hardwood, laminate, linoleum, and vinyl, in adjoining areas, different installation crews are needed. It becomes a logistics challenge."

As Elisha Harley, Residential Group Customer Service Specialist said, "The results were worth the effort; we now have a magnificent, stylish showroom featuring a storyboard of flooring from Stanton carpet to Edge ceramic Flooring of which we can be proud."

To introduce their new look, Carpet One is planning The Grand Re-Opening Event. This event will be highlighted by a flooring makeover for three lucky clients. The drawings will feature one hardwood, one carpet and one ceramic tile winner from visitors to the showroom.
